Tammye Markle

Whether you are seeking help to cope with past hurts, learning to handle difficult life challenges or working toward emotional and spiritual freedom that leads to a bright and promising future, deciding to step out in faith is one of the most courageous things you can do. I believe that healing is most complete and sustainable when the whole person approach is the focus. The combination of healing for the heart, soul (mind, will and emotions) and spirit results in individuals who are truly free. Galatians 5:1 says that our freedom comes from Christ, and we must always embrace this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of the past.

For the last 20 years I have walked beside young adults who are discovering who they want to become, helping define their dreams and set goals to achieve those dreams. I have embraced the challenges faced by women who are juggling raising a family, excelling in a career, being a super wife and caring for aging parents, helping them achieve a balance that leads to peace and joy along the journey. Much of my experience has been in helping women identify lies they have believed about themselves and replace those lies with the truth found in God’s Word.  Recently I have been working with teenage girls who have been rescued from trafficking, providing Equine Assisted Learning through a program that I created called Trinity Equine Assisted Mentoring (affectionately called TEAM). This is a weekly session-based program that walks these precious girls down a path of healing which addresses topics from grief, anger and betrayal to finding self-worth and value, re-establishing trust and learning healthy boundaries. The program mixes interaction with horses and clinical sessions for a fun and powerful healing experience. While working with these sweet girls, I realized that this program had tremendous value for everyone; even those who have not suffered that kind of trauma. The lessons are incredibly valuable.  I have also worked with women in the areas of post abortion grief, post addiction mentoring and sexual abuse recovery.

It would be an honor and privilege to work with you on your path to healing and freedom. Contact Watershed Counseling Center to schedule your first session and let’s work together to carve out your individual journey.
