“You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So…get on your way!” -Dr. Seuss
Deciding to seek help—whether to address life’s challenges, navigate a difficult decision, or focus on personal growth—is a brave and significant step. I understand the trust you place in me to support your health and well-being, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where transparency, genuineness, empathy, and open communication thrive. Together, we will build mutual respect and validate your thoughts and feelings as we work toward your goals.
I am passionate about helping people discover how to live their best lives. While the journey can sometimes feel overwhelming, I am committed to walking alongside you to find the best route forward. I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families facing various needs. My areas of focus include anger management, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, study and organizational skills, social skills, self-esteem, trauma, assertive communication, boundary setting, relational difficulties, parenting interventions, and substance use. I also offer Christian counseling as part of the therapeutic process for clients who desire it.
Everyone’s challenges and perspectives are unique, which is why I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. I use an eclectic therapy style that incorporates evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, client-centered approaches, and assertive communication strategies. One of my greatest passions is helping clients develop assertive communication skills and establish healthy boundaries. I believe learning to communicate effectively is the key to successful relationships in all areas of life. As Bret Morrison said, “Of all the life skills available to us, communication is perhaps the most empowering.”
I aim to help you create meaningful, lasting change and build a more fulfilling life by meeting you where you are and building on your strengths.
