Teens

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says “I’ll try again tomorrow”.” – Mary Anne Radmacher

Teens encounter complex issues as they move from childhood to adulthood. As they grow, their needs and expectations change and their identities evolve and develop. Like adults, they can benefit greatly from professional therapy. Many struggle with balancing expectations with their desire for independence and are also trying to find their identity amongst their peers. This time in their lives can pose some of the greatest threats to families, their sense of connection and unity. Counseling can help them open up to explore their challenges and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental setting where our therapist can provide them with proven tools to apply to life’s challenges. They will learn how to process their feelings in a healthy way and navigate their complex thoughts about their struggles so they can see things more clearly and find their purpose and strength.

Our therapist work towards improvements in their self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-identity through these difficult years.
